Grassy Waters Geocaching
Jeff and I had to waste another couple of hours today. I thought about John Prince Park since it has been highly recommended by a friend, but this was still 30 minutes south! Instead we went to Grassy Waters which is always a winner. Today we went in the context of looking for geocaches and had semi success. We started at the Hog Hammock Trail side of Northlake (North) and found a couple and couldn’t find one, and then Jeff ran out of battery with no backup.
Then we went across the street to the Boardwalk Trail so Jeff could charge his phone and I could find a couple of caches before we got called back into town for errands.
I also found an ad for the annual Grassy Waters photo contest, which I am going to enter this year – wish me luck! I’ll post some of those older Grassy Waters pics after the contest is over. You still have a couple of weeks if you want to visit and enter, too!
